Vaccinations

Just Like Home 4 Paws requires that every dog be up to date on their vaccines prior to admission into daycare or boarding. Exceptions to this policy may be considered with written documentation from a veterinarian.

For the safety of all our guests, vet visits and vaccinations CANNOT be within 10 days of your pets stay. If any of the required vaccinations have never been given or have lapsed in validity, they MUST be administered at least 10 days prior to your pet’s stay.

Vaccination Requirements

 

  • Rabies

  • DPP — (D)Distemper, (P)Parainfluenza, (P)Parvovirus

  • Bordetella

  • H3N2 Canine Influenza is given in 2 shots 2-4 weeks apart for the first time. Then just 1 shot annually (strongly recommended)

  • Negative Fecal test result within the last year (strongly recommended)

  • Monthly flea, tick and heartworm preventative medication (strongly recommended)



Proof of vaccines MUST be submitted before your pet’s arrival.

Also, all dogs over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
